The CoFoE (Conference on the Future of Europe) is a unique and timely opportunity for European citizens to shape the future of the EU. During the session in Natolin, the citizens discuss on topical issues such as climate change, environment and health. Today at the Palace of Culture of Warsaw, they will vote : there are 63 draft recommendations.

SOUNDBITE (English), Zdzis&#322;aw KRASNOD&#280;BSKI (ECR, PL), My first impression ist is always good to engage citizens, it is very good; we have had about 200 citizens here in Warsaw - maybe the first time they come in this part of Europe.  They could see the College of Europe in Natolin, discuss the issues... So I can say in general a very good atmosphere

In order to make understood the knowledge of the EU, the problems, the difficulties to implement such ideas in the real politics.

SOUNDBITE (Croatian), Mateja, I think the work we did is a great job but because I am personally interested in the topics of mental health care and so on so I think the proposals that are given will come to the fore and I think that in the end it is a good opportunity and I'm very happy to be here because I can actively participate in some change and can actively do something. I think it's very important that other people engage in that we all brand forms together and come up with some ideas and create our own future instead of waiting for some drugs.
