The wood used for the exterior wall is spruce. The library has ample space for both silent and noisier activities, ranging from reading and working to film screenings and cooking classes.

The European elections take place in Finland on June 9, 2024, but the advance voting period enables citizens to cast their ballots before election day. During the advance voting period, eligible voters may vote at any of the general advance polling stations in Finland or abroad. To make voting accessible, polling stations are also set up in busses and ferries in sparsely populated areas. In total, Finnish citizens elect 15 Members of the European Parliament.
