We spoke about various very topical and even hot issues, both concerning the European Union but also the world as such and the global public. 

SOUNDBITE (English), Roberta METSOLA, EP President, My trip here to Slovenia has also been dominated by talks about enlargement. What are the next steps on a European level for the European Parliament? This has been very clear, it is a win win. We have always been the most staunch and most vocal supporter for EU enlargement. Especially this year as we celebrate 20 years of ten countries having entered the European Union and the transformational effect that membership has had. We very much welcome the decision last week by the European Council to open accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we would push to move ahead with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and the rest of, the Western Balkans.
