These humanitarian interventions are conducted in line with the international humanitarian law and paid from those whom you represent and still Israel does not respect that.

SOUNDBITE (English), Riad Al-MALKI, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestinian National Authority, The State of Palestine is yearning for liberation of its everlasting captivity and exile and objurgation of its people. It longs to join the community of nations as an equal, free and sovereign state on the "67 borders" with east Jerusalem and its capital. You have the instruments, the means and the will to make it happen. We urge you to encourage and support us in our determination to use international law and peaceful means to regain our rights.

Because we believed the importance of Europe to play a role in the peace process, we have said always that we don't want Europe to be a payer but also a player.

SOUNDBITE (English), Ana GOMES (S&amp;D, PT), Talking about peace for your country, for Palestine and peace between Palestine and Israel is about indeed denying what has been recurrently a narrative for the recruities of terrorism in many parts of the world. And it is about justice and it is about self-respect, not just for your people but for us as well.

SOUNDBITE (German), Klaus BUCHNER (Greens/EFA, DE), First of all there are reports in the press saying that there is soon to be a meeting between Hamas and Fatah in Doha can you tell us more about that. Do you see it as an opportunity for an agreement? That could be very positive for the entire region?
