SOUNDBITE (Italian), David SASSOLI, EP President, The European Union is correcting many selfishnesses and especially the lack of coordination between national governments in the face of the serious Covid crisis 19.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), David SASSOLI, EP President, Today, the extraordinary meeting of the European Council gave the green light to the proposals of the European Commission and supported the indications given by the European Parliament to counteract the advance of the virus in a united, choral way and help our countries.

Preferential lanes for the passage of medical materials, defense of the free movement of goods on our territory ... These are important aids for financial support to our families and businesses in this particular time of our lives.
