Antonio TAJANI, EP President, Federica MOGHERINI, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the EC and António GUTERRES, Secretary General of the United Nations, open the high-level conference for the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in the European Parliament in Brussels. This event, together with the Human Rights Week (19-22 November), will bring together MEPs, representatives of international organisations and civil society, such as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, to reflect on the core principles of human rights and debate new challenges in a global and digital world.
