Yesterday we had the COM proposals, we hope for a good cooperation with the Member States and the European Parliament to ensure fast legislation."

The challenges created by migration will also be included in our agenda, we will not be able to escape the conversations on the unprecedented events in the Eastern neighbourhood, Russia aggression towards Ukraine poses threat to the very fundament of the peace and justice in Europe."

SOUNDBITE (French), Jean-Claude JUNCKER, President of the EC, "The stability pact will remain, we haven't changed the rules. We haven't turned the stability pact into a flexibility pact; it is still a stability pact. And it is based on what I call the 'virtuous triangle', structural reforms, fiscal consolidation, that is still vital and a re-launch of investment in Europe, so that in Europe we can achieve levels of growth which will ensure that we have a fair deal in terms of employment."
