Cutaways of the first prize went to the "Train for Europe" project (Germany), a project to build a locomotive and wagons on the Airbus principle. The train has a gauge of 90 mm, a total length of around 8 metres, and runs on a 12 m circular track. The German student on stage with Jerzy BUZEK, EP President. Congratulations.

SOUNDBITE (English), Sascha EMRICH, German candidate:, My name is Sascha Emrich from Germany, I m represent the project "Train For Europe" where every country of Europe or schools made a wagon to complete a all train, this the wagon of Germany, we thought what represents Germany, we directly though the Beetle.

SOUNDBITE (English), John HOLTEN, Irish candidate, I am John Holten from Ireland , the national winner of book project : "You are here". We 're 15 young people committed together to make a book, with translation, original works different art forms poetry, literature and politics, we had a young team of designers, five different languages, including Belarusian and polish with translation at the back which is quite a unique design, I am very proud of it.
