SOUNDBITE (Italian), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, We need a serious migration policy, not one that says you can all come, nor another that does the opposite, cause extremisms are never good. We need migration policy that allows those who need it to come to Europe and those who have an economic need, to be able to come and work here, in the framework of a well  regulated flow.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, Europe can not afford to play this fundamental game. It can not stays on the sides of this global challenge that will involve Russia, China, India, the USA.... Europe will have a role to play, but as long as it remains united.

The fundamental rights we depend point to the opposite approach.  In our global world , what happens in other parts  of the world, do impact us , and vice-versa. So we have the responsability to safeguard security in Europe and support peaceful solutions in other parts of the world.
