Kirjeldus

The European Union and Georgia’s close relationship is based on the "EU Georgia Association Agreement" that includes a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA).

The DCFTA entered into force in July 2016 and strives for political association and economic integration. The EU remains committed to supporting a strong, independent and prosperous Georgia via a firm support to the country's territorial independence within its internationally recognised borders, political dialogue, as well as cooperation and assistance programmes.
