SOUNDBITE (English) Emin Alper, director of &ldquo;Burning Days&rdquo; - Actually, my main aim was to reflect our feelings with respect to the political experience as we lived in the country. You know, in the last years in my country, not only in my country, in various places of the world, people were quite astonished to see that corrupt and authoritarian figures are becoming highly popular. So this is the question that I am following to answer. I mean, how they can be so popular and how the people like us feel so desperate and isolated with respect to this reality.

SOUNDBITE (English) Emin Alper, director of &ldquo;Burning Days&rdquo; - Of course, it's very nice. I'm very honoured to be here in the European Parliament and especially with within as such a nice selection, because all the films in the selection are very good. I, I really love all these films. So I mean that's very important and it's, it's really good that the European Parliament takes this as a responsibility, I mean, to, to elect, to pick certain films which have political considerations and which and they try to, I mean, attract more audience interest to this film. So this I mean, this slogan is also very meaningful in the sense.
