SOUNDBITE (English) - Carla Sim&oacute;n director of &ldquo;Alcarr&agrave;s&rdquo;: It's an honour to be nominated here. It's a kind of celebration somehow of European cinema, which I feel very close to and that I'm part of somehow. And the and also it means that the film is relevant today somehow, and also for the theme that it's the it's talking about. And at the end it's about the farmers and farming and these way of doing agricultural work in a small family business that I feel that it's something that it's kind of disappearing today. So I think that it's always good because it's not of like this kind of fashion or hot topics. No, we talk about it like here and now and then, but it's but I think that we should talk more about it somehow. So I think that it's very nice to kind of have the film here in this election.

SOUNDBITE (English) - Carla Sim&oacute;n director of &ldquo;Alcarr&agrave;s&rdquo;: I think it somehow it feeds because the film, it's about family love. No. And it portrays a big, big family that shares the same roof. It's like three generations living together, which is also a way of living that it's it used to be very common, but it's not as common as before. No. And I think that they talk about family as a place that it's kind of like a refuge for for the world. We live in any place where you can be yourself. And obviously, it's not an easy place always. And I, like families, also have many problems within them. And the film also talks about like the difficulty of communication and family and all this. But at the end, it's it's a film that indicates somehow the power of family.
