Angry Greeks bring their concerns to Parliament, the Civil Liberties Committee adopts its annual report on human rights and the EP hosts a falconry exhibition.

Angry young men and women from Greece  came to Parliament on Tuesday

voicing concern about a future  that is currently looking very grim.

Youth unemployment in Greece  now stands at over 50%.

so we want the European Parliament  to take action to help us save our future

because we are the future  and without us Europe is nothing.

'Shape Your Future'  represents young people

who have not yet given up hope  with the European project.

It was met with understanding  and encouragement from its audience.

There are a lot of things that we need  to change in order to overcome the crisis

and among these things  that we need to change

is to make the European citizens  more involved

in the process  of European construction.

The Civil Liberties Committee  adopted its annual report

about the state of fundamental  human rights in Europe.

However, most members  from the European People's Party

voted against it because of disagreement  on women's reproductive rights

and the rights of gay, lesbian  and transgender people.

These issues also remain controversial  within the Member States.

The Liberal MEP working on the report  believes that a breakthrough is needed.

These kinds of reports are not so much  about naming and shaming

as they are about identifying problems  and solutions as well.

Parliament played host to a rather unusual  display of animal magic this week: falconry.

The UN's Cultural arm, UNESCO, has  declared falconry a living human heritage

and is lobbying for the conservation  of its rich traditions.

UNESCO, which organised the exhibition,  is now hoping

to take the ancient art  under their wings too.
