EU leaders met&nbsp;in Brussels for a two-day summit on 18 and 19 June.&nbsp;

At their meeting leaders met with President Zelenskyy to discuss the situation in Ukraine, underlining the EU’s continued military support for Ukraine and its commitment to increasing external pressure on Russia. EU leaders also focused on the situation in the Middle East, including Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank, and welcomed the ceasefire agreement between the USA and Iran.

During their meeting, leaders also discussed the 2028-2034 EU long-term budget (multiannual financial framework, MFF), security and defence in the context of ongoing hybrid threats, migration management, and enlargement. They called for stronger relations with Armenia following the country’s recent parliamentary elections.
