MEPs have formed their political groups in Parliament. 
The S&D (Socialists and Democrats) is the parliamentary group of the Party of European socialists.

The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, often known as S&D,

is the parliamentary group of the Party of European socialists.

They are one of the oldest political groups in the European Parliament.

We share European values, those that are part of the European project:

solidarity, diversity, justice and tolerance, now more necessary than ever.

With 154 members, S&D is the second largest group in the European Parliament

just behind the European Peoples' Party.

Legislation on the European Pillar of Social Rights is fundamental,

as is legislation in terms of equality between men and women,

and everything that has to do with a just ecological transition

They have members from all EU countries, except Czechia and Ireland.

We will never agree with those who came to the European Parliament

With other progressive and pro-European political forces, we must find common ground.

There is a mutual understanding with the progressive and pro-European political forces -

an understanding not only of the differences of position,

but also of the need to walk in the same direction.
