SOUNDBITE (English), Gwendoline DELBOS-CORFIELD (Greens/EFA, FR), Head of the EP LIBE delegation , Today we have been working on the aspects of justice and judicial aspects. It is an important pilar of the rule of law, the independence of justice so this is was it was a big part of our programme. We met with the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, the National Office for Judiciary and at the National Judicial Council and also two former judges. This discussion was not always easy, the dialogue was not always easy because there is the feeling that our questions are too political so we didn't always get all the answers that we have liked to have. There are also some concerns that remain that have been stated numerous time in the process of the European Parliament, in the text from the Commission, in the text from other International and European institutions and we didn't have all the answers that we needed so we will continue working on this.<br /> <br />
