SOUNDBITE (French), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, This is a debate to speak about our citizens health, and also to speak about liberties. All the citizens are having the right to be protagonists within the society, to work in the society. Those with Down Syndrome have the right to work, and must work. There in my home country, Italy, are restaurants owned by such young women and man, and we eat very well there. So you can see. It is a question of liberties, we have to allow to those young people to get engaged with the society.

SOUNDBITE (French), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, For days ago we have had a big victory, of a young girl at the TV M&eacute;lanie S&eacute;gard. She presented the weather on FR2 TV. She becomes protagonist. She did it very well. There were 5,3 millions TV viewers, and she had more than 5.000 likes on Facebook . So we can defend freedom this way.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, The most important problem is freedom. Of course the money are important, to put more money for innovation and research in this sector, for hospitals, we need to work a lot for the next budget for the next European framework, of course we need to put in the centre of our work the citizens&rsquo; rights.

SOUNDBITE (French), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, This is why we have to be engaged and go further. We always have to be engaged and win the life challenges. Those who are giving love are always having the chance to win. To win within the family, within the work, even if it is difficult. We have to help and allow you to win, as the examples I was giving you earlier had win: the actor; the model, the young weather journalist. They have win their challenge, and they become examples of freedom for us. We have to follow them.  Thanks
