SOUNDBITE (English), Deirdre CLUNE (EPP, IE), Member of the EP Delegation to the Cofoe, Working group Europe in the world, I do think the conclusions of our working group in the world will be different because of this war. And number one, I think the need to be autonomous in terms of our energy supplies. There's a serious focus on that and we realised how dependent Europe is on oil and gas supplies from Russia. We need to do more about building our own supplies. So that's been one element that's been kind of changed direction in the discussions of the group and also very conscious of the need for security and defence.

SOUNDBITE (English), Marc ANGEL (S&amp;D, LU), Member of the EP Delegation to the Cofoe, Working group Migration, Now we have the war in Ukraine, we have four million  people fleeing the bombs of Putin from Ukraine. And what do we see? And not only in the neighbouring states of Ukraine, but also in all Europe- the solidarity of the people. And the people, they don't only talk about solidarity, but they live it every day now in our cities, in our in the bordering countries, as I said, in all member states. And I think this is the lesson we have to learn from this-we cannot have migration and asylum policy without solidarity
