MEPs debate and vote the reformed version of the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP) , that aims to be greener, fairer, more flexible and transparent. Statements of the 3 rapporteurs Peter JAHR (EPP, DE), Ulrike MÜLLER (Renew, DE), Eric ANDRIEU (S&D, FR), of the European Commissioner for Agriculture, Janusz WOJCIECHOWSKI and of MEP Christophe HANSEN (EPP, LU), representing the ENVI committee. The “Strategic plans regulation” of Peter JAHR was adopted with 452 votes in favour, 178 against and 57 abstentions, the “Horizontal regulation” of Ulrike MÜLLER with 485 votes in favour, 142 against and 61 abstentions and the “Common market organisation regulation” of Eric ANDRIEU with 487 in favour, 130 against and 71 abstentions.
