The European Parliament’s Autumn 2022 Eurobarometer was carried out by Kantar between 12 October and 7 November in all 27 EU Member States. The survey was conducted face-to-face, with video interviews (CAVI) used additionally in Czechia and Denmark. 26.431 interviews were conducted in total. SOUNDBITE (English), Roberta METSOLA, President of the European Parliament, People are understandably worried about the rising cost of living. More and more families are struggling to make ends meet. Young people are still worrying about their present and their future. This is the time where people look to us for decisions and leadership. Now is the time for us to deliver. To make a difference in times that are becoming harder. To turn challenges into opportunities.

By making our economies grow. By creating jobs. We need to deliver on Europe&rsquo;s competitiveness. And bring back the peace of mind so many have lost. Most of all, we must protect the most vulnerable in our societies. To make people&rsquo;s lives a little bit easier and a little bit fairer.
