Ahead of European elections that took place from 6th to 9th of June 2024, the President of the European Parliament led a series of debates with young people across the EU under the name “Get the vote out”- to explain them why their vote matters and encourage them to go to vote.

The European Parliament also conducted an information campaign to engage citizens to come to vote in the European elections in all member states.

The EP signed also a Memorandum of Understanding with ENEX - the European News Exchange. ENEX represents 55 private TV outlets. The partnership  deepened the cooperation between the two sides to ensure broad coverage of the European elections
