I would like to invite MEPs to sit far apart from each other. So please put one seat between each member. I see there's not too many of us, so I am sure you'll understand. That's very evident for public health reasons.

SOUNDBITE (Original), David SASSOLI, EP President There are no comments on these? Those minutes could be considered adopted. I have a number of announcements to make following on the election of Mr. Matt Carthy as a member of the National Parliament of Ireland.

SOUNDBITE (Original), David SASSOLI, EP President The Parliament takes note that his seat has become vacant from the 8th of February 2020, in line with the rules of procedure. The competent authorities in Ireland have informed me that Mr. Chris McManus has been elected a member of the European Parliament, replacing Matt Carthy from the 6th of March 2020.

SOUNDBITE (Original), David SASSOLI, EP President I would like to wish a warm welcome to this colleague and I will recall that he enjoys full rights in the party and the parliament and its bodies in line with the conditions set by the rules of procedure. The S&amp;D, Renew and Greens groups have informed me of a number of decisions to change nominations to commissioners and delegation.

SOUNDBITE (Original), David SASSOLI, EP President These decisions will be stated in the minutes of today's session and they will take effect from the date of this announcement. The Conference of Presidents has informed me that no objections have been raised to the recommendation by agri committee not to oppose a delegated act pursuant to Article 111, paragraph six of the rules of procedure.

If no objections are raised by a political group or members reaching at least the low threshold within 24 hours following this announcement announcement, the recommendation shall be deemed to have been approved.
