SOUNDBITE (English), Jerzy Karol BUZEK, EP President, About the events in Chechnya, I was sad and concerned when I learned of the news of the terrorist attacks against the Chechen Parliament, in which 3 people lost their lives. Condolences to the families. Violence and murder can never, in any situation be accepted as form of protest. It is of utmost importance for the Russian authorities to show their full commitment to enhance the rule of law and to insure that it is properly and equally applied, the rule of law everywhere is important.
