SOUNDBITE (English), Romanian young student Gabriel, Last week with the non entrance to Schengen. The other sensitive topic for us here in Romania. We saw actually the opposite of what solidarity means for us every single evening in all the televisions. Why Romania did not enter Schengen. What can we do?

SOUNDBITE (English), Roberta METSOLA, EP President, It was symbolic for me to come to Romania yesterday and today. I would have hoped that I would be here a week after a positive decision would have been taken for Romania. I wouldn't say to be allowed in, but to get what it deserves. 11 years too late, I would say, since this country has fulfilled all the criteria to do and to have exactly what every other citizen of the European Union does and has.

SOUNDBITE (English), Young female student, By addressing the concerns of young people and future generations. And if so, what would be the concrete steps that the European Parliament should take in order to promote the adoption and implementation of the EU Youth Test ?

SOUNDBITE (English), Roberta METSOLA, So I used to be a board member of the European Youth Forum 20 years ago. Long time. And I can tell you that it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Being active in youth politics or just being a youth activist can give you the possibility to meet people from all over Europe to see that there are young people who are going through your same experiences, but also to see how you can help make politics a force for good
