SOUNDBITE (Italian), David SASSOLI, EP President, <p>We want to get out of the crisis with our democrcy intact. We have asked to the European Commission , as the guardian of the European treaties, to assess whether the new laws introduced in Hungary comply with the Article 2 of our Treaty. All EU Members states have the duty to protect our founding values, our freedom.</p>
