SOUNDBITE (English), Paulina PAJAK, Polish LGBTI activist, In 2019, Kobar, Paweł, Jakub and I founded the website Atlas of Hate, documenting and mapping all those regions that adopted anti-LGBT declarations and other discriminatory acts. We have so far documented over 200 cases and we have shown that about 100 Polish authorities have adopted such discriminatory declarations. And now this region's cover, one third of Poland's.

SOUNDBITE (English), Paulina PAJAK, Polish LGBTI activist, We were heard by the European Parliament. The resolution that was condemning this discrimination in Poland, LGBT discrimination gave us hope and also discouraged local authorities from adopting new anti LGB declaration. But it didn't stop the hate campaign, the violence and the discrimination that we face.

SOUNDBITE (English), Kamil MACZUGA, Polish LGBTI activist, I have actually join the Atlas of Hate as the last one. It was after my hometown decided to declare themselves as free from the so-called LGBT ideology. And I know that there are people there still living and growing up knowing that they are gay or lesbians and they had no one to talk about it. And so I felt that I need to do something. So I decided to join this projec Atlas of hate.

SOUNDBITE (English), Pawel PRENETA, Polish LGBTI activist, I'm the only one in our team, which is not a LGBT person. So I have a right to have a family, to be married and to have a daughter, and I'm married and have have a daughter. And I'm also not targeted directly by homophobic campaigns, which are run by a far right extremist. I have to imagine what they feel and how are issues they encounter.

I'm collecting data from Google issued to our other team members are placing the resolutions that are enacted and then displaying this on the map. I'm updating this map right now. I'm working on the new version of our Web site, which will give some better tools to find out those resolution filter to see.
