The legislation, agreed between Parliament and Council, would boost the protection of the EU’s essential infrastructure by introducing harmonised minimum rules for risk assessments and national resilience strategies. Definitions of essential infrastructure and communication practises would also be harmonised, with single points of contact established in each country to facilitate cross-border communication.
