Statements by Dacian CIOLOŞ (Renew, RO) and Ska KELLER (Greens/EFA, DE) following the meeting of the EP Conference of Presidents

SOUNDBITE (English), Ska KELLER (Greens/EFA, DE), We had a nice and interesting discussion, she was presenting the organigram, how is it on the table, and we have asked a lot of questions, on the &lt;European way of life&gt; but also on different other organisational things. She said that she was very open to our suggestions, and to change titles if it is necessary.  She didn't yet propose any change, but she said she was open to.

SOUNDBITE (French), Dacian CIOLO&#350; (RE, RO), Concerning the portfolio or Margaritis Schinas, she didn't convinced me. Even if I do understand the meaning of "European way of life" , when we look at the mission letter it's not a clear superposition between a title and the mission letter. So I propose to change the title or to have a revision of the content of the mission letter.

SOUNDBITE (English), Dacian CIOLO&#350; (RE, RO), There were also remarks from colleagues concerning other portfolios, as for example Innovation and Youth, there is no precision about culture, about education or about research. Some colleagues underlined also the fact that Fisheries is not clearly expressed in a portfolio. She committed to reflect on it and to come back (to us).
