Statement by Antonio TAJANI, EP President, on the latest results of EUROBAROMETER in Italy

<p>The Italian government is evidently not in tune with the citizens of our country. Declaring war on Europe does not help. The majority of Italians are in favour of the European Union; actually the percentage of Italians who believe in Europe has increased and the percentage of those who want to leave the European Union has strongly decreased. Of course Europe must change, but it would be a grave mistake for our country to destroy it.</p>
