Situation in Poland: extracts from the vote

EP chair President announcing  the vote on Poland and the request from ECR group to postpone de vote.

SOUNDBITE (English), Syed KAMALL (ECR, UK), Group leader, Commissioner Timmermans travelled to Poland last week, for dialogue to the polish government. By all accounts this is very constructive. Mr Timmermans is returning again in a few days' time for more dialogue. I propose that we postpone this vote until after those meetings have taking place.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Giovanni PITTELLA (S&amp;D, IT), Group leader, It is a legitimate duty to take an interest on a part of an European Institution taking interest on what is going on within the family. Poland is part of our family and we have an interest in the fate of Polish citizens.
