Towards equal rights for persons with disabilities: MEPs debate

Parliament demands measures that enable people with disabilities to participate socially and in the labour market, and propose ways to address discrimination. MEPs reaffirm that the right of persons with disabilities to live independently has to be fully guaranteed through policies and legislation focused on inclusion that will eradicate stereotypes and ableism.
