Ėjo 1989-ieji. Andrėjai buvo septyneri, jis gyveno Forte dei Marmi miestelyje, Italijoje, Tirėnų jūros pakrantėje. Jis buvo tik pradėjęs pažinti pasaulį. Kartu su šeima keliavo po Italiją ir Europą: iš Rytų į Vakarus, iš Šiaurės į Pietus – ir matė, ką iš tiesų reiškia sienos. Ir tuomet, vieną 1989 metų lapkričio mėnesio dieną, jų požiūris į Europą visiškai pasikeitė. Artėjant vakarui Europa pasiekė lūžio tašką. Šimtai liudijimų, dokumentų, nuotraukų ir vaizdo įrašų, kuriais dalijasi žmonės iš visos Europos. Tai „Mano istorija“ – bendradarbiavimu grindžiamas Europos Parlamento projektas.
