SOUNDBITE (English), Jan ZAHRADIL (ECR, CZ), I was the only candidate. I am very thankful of course to the ECR group for endorsing me and also to the ACRE Party to nominating me.

SOUNDBITE (English), Jan ZAHRADIL (ECR, CZ), Why I'm Running? First, I'm running because we respect the rules. We as you all know we didn't invent the Spitzenkandidaten process. In 2014 we didn't play according those rules, this time we decided to change our attitude. It's here so we can use it in a positive way to communicate our program, our principles and our plans to the public.

SOUNDBITE (English), Jan ZAHRADIL (ECR, CZ), European Union is not a state, European Commission is not a government. We are a pro European family, yes, but anti-federalist. And this will be also one of my main messages in the campaign.
