SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, For us it is important to ask to Mr. ZUCKERBERG what they want to do for more transparency and in defence of the right of the European citizens in every sector, it is unacceptable for us to use our informations for other goals. As you know, they used our information for the the election campaign for the Brexit. We need to change. And in 2 days we will have also the new European rules in defence of our rights on data protection.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, I want to put the EP at the centre of the political debate, for this I invited all the European Prime Minister for a face to face with the  members of the parliament.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, We need to defend our interests as Europe. LooK at the immigration situation. We need to look to Africa as Europe. It is impossible to achieve good solutions now and in the next years without an European engagement. Also if you want to strengthen growth in Europe, we need to strengthen our internal market, we need to achieve good European solutions at the industrial level for small and medium-sized companies.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, The next MFF will be without the British money, because as you know UK will leave the European Union next year, this is another political choice and we want to approve the multiannual financial framework before the European elections, because we want to explain to the European citizens what we want to do with the money.

SOUNDBITE (English), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, The most important problems are immigration, growth, security and engagement against the terrorism.

SOUNDBITE (Italian), Antonio TAJANI, EP President, We want also to know what they are going to do in the future to prevent that the European Parliament elections are influenced for instance, that they are not affected by other illegal activities. Facebook is one of the biggest listening platforms in Europe, it has more members in Europe than in USA or Canada. We are the regulators, it is not the case that the day after tomorrow a new European legislation is coming into force.
