SOUNDBITE (English), Ska KELLER, Greens lead candidate, We very much hope that the support we have seen and experienced all over the European Union, in the past weeks and months will manifest itself in votes today, because I think it is very important that we get today a strong voice for change, for climate protection as protection of biodiversity and the natural resources that we have. That we get a strong voice bringing the Euroepan Union close together having a social European Union, as well as strengthening democracy and the rule of law all over the European Union. We want to be that voice of change and of climate protection and we hope we get the support for that.  

SOUNDBITE (English), Ska KELLER, Greens lead candidate, The next European Parliament needs to act swiftly on matters like climate protection because we have only very limited time, is what the scientists tell us. The good thing is we know what we need to do, so we just need the political will and the political majorities, so we need to act now. 

SOUNDBITE (English), Ska KELLER, Greens lead candidate, Next European Commission President needs to make very swiftly proposals on how to act on the climate crisis, how to stop the loss on biodiversity, because these are matters on which we need to act fast. And we need to make sure that also the future generations have an environment in which it is good to live in and we cannot say we don't take a decision because this will directly impact especially but not only younger people.
