One of the world's wealthiest men,  he came to explain the work

but said if more of Europe's wealthy  got involved it would help reduce poverty.

We've gotten the number who are hungry  in the world down from half to about 15%

and so we hope that people  want to continue to make progress

and fund the activities so we can get  that number all the way down to 0%.

Better but not yet good enough is  the view of the Environment Committee

on revised proposals  on electromagnetic radiation.

MEPs fear the latest proposals  from the EC are over-complicated,

but they're pleased that MRI scans and  similar forms of treatment will be exempted.

There is no hint that MRI  is of any danger for the patients

but there is a lot of risk  if we cannot use this technology.

The legislation is blocked at Council level

and MEPs urged ministers  to let the measures go through.

The EP President, Martin Schulz, has held  talks with Hungary's PM, Viktor Orbán,

about the dispute over Hungary's  controversial new laws,

which have already  been criticised in the EP.

The EC has launched  infringement proceedings.
