A clear message  from millions of European citizens

opposed to the EC's  Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement,

They should stand on the side of citizens  and on the side of the fundamental values

that are the core of the European Union.

Protesters fear the treaty will restrict  internet freedoms.

The EC says it's designed  to protect intellectual property

It's asked the European Court  of Justice for a ruling.

The European Parliament will go  through ACTA with a fine toothcomb.

We will make a political assessment  at the end of the day

whether ACTA balances properly  commercial interests against civil liberties.

It was a day to remember  for Energy Hero,

not to mention hundreds of millions  of consumers across Europe

who stand to benefit  from the EP's approval

of new energy efficiency measures  and targets.

The key to success:  that they're nationally binding.

We will be able to make it possible  for Europe to control energy costs

at a time when oil  and gas prices are rising.

The EP is demanding the Commission  frame stronger regulations

The Committee for Transport  agreed to demand measures

indemnifying passengers, for example,  against the type of flight paralysis

experienced during the Icelandic  volcano eruption in 2010.
