SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , The Prime Minister Mrs May was talking of triggering Article 50 without consulting parliament. And using something called a Royal prerogative which is a really ancient 400 year-old right that used to be used by kings. So I went to the Court and argued that she couldn't do that and won. The Supreme Court upheld my case, which was that only parliament can take away rights. Because when we trigger Article 50 we leave the EU there's a huge raft of rights that will be lost, including the four freedoms. So how can parliament do that, sorry, how can the Prime MInister do that without parliament?

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , The House of Lords have argued that there should be two amendments to the Article 50 bill; one that confirms the rights of EU citizens in the UK, who have been there, and the second, that in 18 months time before we hand up the negotiated package to the EU for ratification there's a vote. And Mrs May is saying the she is not going to be putting into legal writing that there will be a vote. She's just making a promise. And my argument is, a political promise means nothing.

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , It has to go back to parliament, it has to be that we either discuss all the options or she has to go back to the table. Because you know, if we end up with no deal and falling back on World Trade Organisation options, WTO options, that pushes us back as a country, as an economy by goodness knows how many years. We will be in a very, very bad place. And such an important decision cannot be made by just the Prime Minister and a handful of her executives. Otherwise we will be turning into America, where the Prime Minister just signs executive orders and decides anything.

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , If in 18 months time they don't go back to parliament, and decide to bypass parliament, I will take them back to court.

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , I do not understand the stance that our government is taking. It makes no sense, we don't have the people or the resources or the time to go ahead in this negotiation and leave with a good package. So from where we stand today, I believe that one of the best options would be for us to either to apply to lengthen the two years, or to seek transitional agreements, but those are things that will have to happen in negotiations. But I can tell you, I do not believe that the government in the UK has a proper plan of how we leave.

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , What is happening in Britain in the mood at the moment is that we have got bullying from the government, and we have fear in the public, so people are not speaking up. You can't be an expert, you can't be an academic, you can't be someone with an expertise, you are straight away shot down as being against Britain or being against the will of the people. So all debate is closing down. So that is one that I would like to do, is to encourage people to step up, to have a debate, because how can we get  a good solution if we don't have a good debate about the problems, and that is the part I would like to play.

SOUNDBITE (English), Gina MILLER, British business owner and founder of the True and Fair Campaign, UK , I have police protection, I have special panic buttons around my home, I don't go out on the weekends, my entire life has changed. But I think it is worth it, because if no-one else will step up, I am fighting for the future, for what i believe is my country and my children's my future, and if nobody else, I am sort of, I have always been like this, if nobody else will step up and fight, then I will step up and fight.
