In case you didn't know, I've been  on the web at least two years.

And you can see me on TV  in several EU countries.

But who am I? Where do I come from?  What am I made of? Flashback to 2010.

Hi! I've got into the European Parliament  by the back door. Hi there!

Hi, Blink. Now you need  to go through a security check.

What do you mean, unidentified?  I'm the new presenter of Young Europe.

You can check. I was born in September  2009, after nine months of development.

I have a mother - you'll see her -  and several fathers.

Two computer specialists,  two graphic designers.

One guru, and others  who prefer to remain anonymous.

Then go away!  I'll get fried if I stay here!

It's a journalist's badge.  I'll be able to get in with that.

Blink. I'm a journalist with EuroparlTV.

Blink? Where's that name from?  -Hold on. I'll show you.

I was named in October 2009. The whole  EuroparlTV team racked their brains.

Not easy finding a name  in all the languages!

I'm ready to report from the EP corridors.

After birth I was in an incubator.  I trained my voice for two months.

I know Europe like the back of my hand  and I'm ready. Let's go.

I finally replaced her on EuroparlTV  in January 2010.
