Contracts for the supply of digital content: extracts from the vote and illustrative pictures

SOUNDBITE (German), Evelyne GEBHARDT (S&amp;D, DE), rapporteur, We want to insure that the protection of consumers is respected within the contract. We have also improved the implementation report suggested by the European Commission. We have concluded that everything related to digital content and serivices should be part of this contract.

SOUNDBITE (German), Axel VOSS (EPP, DE), rapporteur, We cannot recommend to have two different reports and thanks to the cooperation of all, we have succeeded to achieve a reasonable proposal. I am therefore very thankful to all for the readiness to embark on this project. It is very important that we achieve something for both consumers and traders on the digital market.
