SOUNDBITE (English), Martin SCHULZ, EP President, The necessary reforms steps in the country and the independent justice on one hand, permanent and also parliamentarian dialogue between the political forces in the country it is for us a very important point, the elements of the fight against terrorism, the security question, the role of the country in the whole region, in the relation with your neighbourhood and not at least your membership in NATO are for us key elements; corner stones of our European-Albanian relationship and my feeling we are on a good way and you as President I think you are contributing a lot for the cooperation between the European Union and Albania and our mutual understanding.

SOUNDBITE (English), Bujar NISHANI, President of Albania, To discuss about the relations between the European Union and Albania as well as on the last developments in the Western Balkan region on the negative effects caused by the refugee crisis and about the fight against terrorism and the organised crime as well. During todays meeting I had the opportunity to express once again the gratitude for the attention that President SCHULZ and the EP pay and dedicate to the relations with Albania and to the Western Balkan region as a whole.
