We believe that the Weimar Triangle organisation has turned out to be very successful in the previous period when Poland was aspiring to the membership in the EU. After that time, when the Weimar Triangle operated not that well, one of the reasons was the fact that Poland was not very much involved in the operation (...) My role as President now is to revive this Triangle as we believe this is a very good place for the clarification of some of the issues pertaining to the Eastern policy.
