Statement by David SASSOLI, EP President on concrete measures of solidarity towards the Brussels region

David SASSOLI, EP President Concrete solidarity with citizens This is the line of the European Parliament in agreement with the Brussels region.

David SASSOLI, EP President We decided to make our building available to welcome the most vulnerable homeless people in this serious health emergency. In addition, every day our kitchens will distribute 1,000 meals to be distributed to the most needy to health workers to help them in their work.

David SASSOLI, EP President We are close to those who suffer and those who commit themselves non-stop in hospitals to the towns and citizens of Brussels such as those of Strasbourg and Luxembourg. The cities that host us that welcome us and that need help today are the strength of Europe in our ability to be in solidarity.
