Roberta METSOLA, EP President, during her official visit to Ireland visits the Memorial of investigative journalist Veronica Guerin in the Dublin Castle Gardens. She was an Irish crime reporter who was murdered by drug lords in 1996. She also hold a town hall discussion with Irish young people. President Metsola and Minister of State for European Affairs, Peter Burke, meet with and speak to 175 young people from across Ireland's Universities as well as representatives from several European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) in Smock Alley theatre, Dublin. The schools represented are from Donegal; Sligo; Meath; Dublin and Clare.
