SOUNDBITE (French), Antonio TAJANI (EPP, IT), EP Vice-President, <p>The European Parliament is close to the victims and their families who have been affected so badly. We must react now. The EP is open, the terrorists cannot stop democracy. Therefore we decide to increase the level of security, but we keep the EP open. We are here to defend the values of democracy and freedom against the terrorism. EP is in the firs line to defend the freedom in Europe.</p>

After these attacks, we need to react. The European Parliament is open, of course,the level of security is stronger, but we are here. We are here to work in favour of democracy and freedom.
