In Hungary the socialists who belong to the S&D Group, the liberal groups and the political parties belonging to the Green Group have been in a close political alliance with an anti-Semitic political party called Jobbik. So if you are against cooperation with the extreme political forces, then you'd better look at your own courtyard first.

You promised us that sanctions will hurt Russia, not European citizens. You promised us that sanctions will end the war.

All this time, Russia happily pockets windfall profits from the energy markets. The sanctions have brought us galloping inflation, which pushes Europeans into poverty by Russia's getting richer. Europe faces an energy shortage and energy crisis. Madam President, this is not what the Commission promised us when you introduced the sanctions.
