We need to have an increase on resources for the Parliament it  was discussed and yes certainly taken all this points with him. And as a matter of fact we are quite enthusiastic about the energy the courage and the creativity with which Mr Michel is attacking the MFF discussion.

SOUNDBITE (English), Johan VAN OVERTVELDT (ECR, BE), Europe's ambitious is very well placed on climate, on digitalisation, on geopolitics and we should all put our money where our mouth is. If you have these ambitions - and we should have them very important - we should also have the money and then we came away from this meeting with the conviction that also Charles Michel  is of the same opinion.

SOUNDBITE (English), Johan VAN OVERTVELDT (ECR, BE), <p>Everybody will have to compromise in the end and I hope that these countries realise thata strongEuropeis also good for them.So they should move in their position.I can understand some of the arguments, sometimes I havetrouble with understanding other arguments they put on the table,but at the end of the day we need to find a good compromise that that opens the door toafuture forEuropewhich will attract again to a much larger degree then today the citizens of Europe.</p>
