Did you know that 85% of all rough diamonds are traded through the port of Antwerp in Belgium? Needless to say that European consumers play a prominent role in driving the world’s diamond trade. Yet many diamonds come from conflict zones, where the proceeds may be used to fund violence or finance deadly conflicts.
