SOUNDBITE (English), Andrej PLENKOVI&#262; (EPP, HR), Head of the EP Election Observation delegation, "It seems to us that everything, to the maximum extent possible, was done to ensure the very good and I would say forthcoming participation of the Ukrainian citizens in the elections. Given the fact that in some areas of the Ukraine, such as parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk region are unaccessible for the Election Comittee, for the Ukrainian authorities, to organize, so therefore it seems at this stage that we will have a Rada, Parliament of Ukraine, which will have 27 members less than normally envisaged. But according to what we understood, the organisation of the elections will be done in an orderly fashion."

SOUNDBITE (English), Andrej PLENKOVI&#262; (EPP, HR), Head of EP Election Observation delegation , "There are two main messages in Ukraine recently, one is that the Ukrainian people, its large majority, has chosen Europe. And the other important political choice is that the leaders of Ukraine are choosing peace, and these two major messages need to be materialised in the work of, I hope, a stable European-oriented majority after the elections."
