President Sandu’s speech comes ahead of crucial parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova on 28 September, amid warnings that the Kremlin is continuing to deploy a range of online and offline tactics, including disinformation and vote-buying schemes, in an attempt to derail the country’s current pro-European trajectory.
